Swab Retension System (SRS)
The SRS provides a robust solution for retaining swabs in tubes during automated pipetting of samples. A re-usable Retention Bar positions an access hole above each tube that is just large enough to accommodate the diameter of the tip. Any swab that attaches to the tip during pipetting will be dislodged by the Retention Bar and kept securely in the tube. The integrated locking mechanism is designed for easy operation and ensures that the retention bar is securely positioned before each run.
